A two-day long inter university cultural fest was held in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Cultural Forum (CF) on Friday and Saturday.
The fest aims at organising and creating a platform for the students and participants so that they can nourish Bangladesh’s culture, can think about community and social problems as well as practice knowledge based art and transform constructive idea into performance. All the participants from distinguished universities have shown their enthusiasm in participating in the Inter University Cultural Fest 2019. BUPCF hosts 9 renowned universities of the nation: Armed Force Medical College, East West University, North South University, Notre Dame University, Daffodil International University, Khulna University, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Mawlana Bhasani Science and Technology University and Bangladesh University of Professional. All the universities presented mesmerizing performances.
The whole programme was judged by renowned singer Ferdous Ara, renowned dancer Lubna Marium and renowned actor Azizul Hakim. After their arrival the performances started off with Armed Force Medical College (AFMC) team. All the teams consisted of 20 participants and 2 technicians with them. Each team got a total of 30 minutes to set everything up on stage and to perform. The participants portrayed different problems starting from Liberation War of Bangladesh, to the social crisis of today, rape, molestation, eve teasing and effects of cutting off the trees. The theme of each performance created awareness among all the guests so that they can take a step towards the end of these crises.
