Popular actress from Dhallywood Shabnom Bubly, recently won the Best Actress award at the ‘Channel I Digital Media Awards’ for her film 'Bossgiri'.
The actress has won the ‘Iconic Star Award 2021’ for Best Actress for her contribution to cinema, again she won the best actress award for ‘Channel I Digital Media Awards’.
On Saturday night Rubaba Daula, a corporate woman, handed over the award to Bubly at the awards ceremony held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital.
Bubly was overwhelmed to receive the award and said, "I am very happy." Feeling honoured as well. Giving honours means encouraging an artist in their work. This also inspired me. Many talented and successful people were present on the occasion. It was great to be able to join them.
BSEC Chairman Prof Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. The special guest were BCACL Chairman Dr Shahjahan Mahmud, Vice President (Bangladesh Chapter) of Bangladesh-American Chamber of Commerce Raju Alim and others.
Awards were also given at the event for special contributions in various sectors of the industry. Ferdous, Nipun, Emon and Simon have been honoured for their contributions to the film. Habib, Ankhi Alamgir, Tanvir Tarek and Anima Roy were awarded for their contribution in music. Besides, Syed Ruma, Liana Lia, Maria, Raj, Nibir Nahid and Asif were honoured as models. Other awards were given to Anjam Masood and Shanta Islam.
