Bangladesh Television (BTV) has handed over 1.37 acre land at Pahartali in Chattogram to Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). This started the institutional chapter of movie shooting and production in Chattogram's forest-mountain rich green location.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud and Ministry Secretary Md. HumayunKabirKhondkar witnessed the signing of the agreement on Sunday afternoon. Director General on behalf of BTV Dr. Jahangir Alam and Managing Director on behalf of BFDC Nuzhat Yasmin said while signing the contract at the Information Minister's Office at the Secretariat, this beautiful place in Chattogram'sPahartali will further enrich the country's film industry.
