Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) celebrated its 52nd founding anniversary on Monday through various programs.
Addressing a discussion meeting, organised on the occasion the newly appointed Managing Director of BSC Commodore MahmudulMalek said currently BSC is a profitable organisation in the transport sector of the government.
He said BSC has earned Tk 246.29 crore in FY 2022-23. In the future, the activities of BSC will be expanded to a greater extent through the addition of new ships of various types and shapes to the fleet, land development activities, increasing the commercial use of land.
He called upon all the officers and employees of the organization to perform their duties properly being imbued with the ideals of the father of the nation Bngabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
BSC Executive Director (Commerce) Dr. Pijush Dutta, Executive Director (Technology) Engineer Mohammad Yusuf, all departmental heads and BSC officials were present.
