The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) server, inactive since July, is now back online. All BRTA services are available once more.
The BRTA confirmed this in a circular sent to the media on Monday.
The server shutdown followed a fire at BRTA's head office in Banani and the Circle-1 office in Mirpur 14, set by miscreants during the quota reform movement. The fire damaged the data centre and electronic devices.
As a result, services including vehicle registration, licence cards, and route permits were halted for nearly a month. These services have now resumed.
Individuals affected by the service disruption are advised to visit their local BRTA circle office to address their needs.
