Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Shariatpur is offering three special online services on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The open online service started at 11 am on Wednesday and continued till 5 pm.
The services include online learner driving license issue, motorcycle registration and user registration with BSP. Besides, 300 digital number plates and digital registration certificates were issued on the day.
Shariatpur Deputy Commissioner Parvez Hasan inaugurated the online service of BRTA at the district level in front of the BRTA office adjacent to the Deputy Commissioner's office.
Additional District Magistrate Shakhawat Hossain, Principal (TTC, Shariatpur) Jahangir Akhtar, district assistant director GM Nadir Hossain, motor vehicle inspector Mahbubur Rahman, District Traffic Inspector Jamal Hossain Mir were present as special guests. Customers and BRTA officials and employees were also present at the time.
According to the BRTA, voter ID, education certificate, photo and fitness medical certificate, and showroom paper and copy of their driving license must be brought to issue for the online learner driving license.
In addition, BSP is providing user registration assistance, which is easily available to the aspiring customers online.
