A seminar on breast cancer awareness will be held in the auditorium of IPDC Finance in the capital today (October 29).
‘Aamra Nari’ and ‘Aamra Nari Research and Development’ are jointly organising the seminar. Bangladesh Post, Bangla Tribune, Bangladesh Protidin and Ekattor TV are media partners of the event.
The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance awareness about breast cancer among women, focusing on early detection and prevention to ensure women’s health remains safeguarded.
M M Zahidur Rahman, founder and chief coordinator ‘Aamra Nari’ and ‘Aamra Nari Research and Development’; said that ‘Aamra Nari’ is a non-political and non-profit organization which committed to the empowerment, welfare, and social development of women. “We actively raise awareness on crucial topics including women's rights, health, education, and safe food practices,” he said.
October is globally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in this regard, Aamra Nari and Aamra Nari Research and Development have organized seminars in Dhaka and other locations across the country.
These seminars aim to educate the public, especially women, on the importance of early detection and preventive measures.
