Dr Mesbah Uddin, Japanese robotics and AI industry expert, ex-faculty member of Kyushu University, Japan visited BRAC University, CSE department on Sunday and conducted a seminar on collaboration scope on robotics and AI with industries of Japan at CSE research lab of the university.
3rd and 4th year students of CSE department along with CSE faculty members attended the seminar.
Professor Dr Md Abdul Mottalib, chairperson of CSE introduced the speaker and gave a short speech on importance of the seminar. As there are many scopes available for CSE graduates in Japanese IT industries, with the leadership of Professor Mottalib, CSE department of BRACU is giving emphasis on introducing Japanese language course in with the collaboration of Brac Institute of Language, BIL.
Speaker, Dr Mesbah Uddin did his BSc, MSc and PhD (IT) in Kyushu University, Japan. Dr Mesbah has vast working experience in Japanese IT industries for last many years. He expressed thanks to the CSE department for creating a rich academic environment for CSE graduates. He believes that with the updated IT knowledge and skills, our CSE graduate will manage many job opportunities in Japan in future days.
As this was a brainstorming seminar, in future days, he will bring specific proposal for increasing collaboration between CSE, BRACU and Japanese IT industries. The seminar was organised by Dr Md Khalilur Rhaman, associate professor and coordinator of robotics lab of CSE department.
