BRAC Bank Limited has signed an Employee Banking (EB) agreement with Central Women’s University (CWU), a concern of Kazi Farms Group.
CWU is the first and only Bangladeshi women’s university signing employee banking agreement with BRAC Bank. Under the agreement, the employees of the university will enjoy all Employee Banking services including salary disbursement and all retail loan facilities i.e., credit card, home loan, auto loan and personal loan from BRAC Bank.
Nazmur Rahim, head of Retail Banking, BRAC Bank, and Professor Perween Hasan, PhD, Vice-Chancellor, CWU, exchanged agreement documents at a programme at the university premise on 2 July.
Professor M Mufakharul Islam, PhD, Treasurer; and Elias Ahmed, registrar, CWU, and AKM Tareq, regional head, Dhaka East Region; Khondker Emdadul Haq, Head of Employee Banking; Debashish Bhowmik, branch manager and area head, Moghbazar Branch; BRAC Bank Limited, were also present.
