The time schedules were changed of the opening matches of the 10th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), which will kick off at Sher-E-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka on January 19.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) changed the time when they differed just 30 minutes to the earlier schedule of the opening matches.
According to new timing the first match will be held between defending champions Comilla Victorians and Durdanto Dhaka at 2:30 p.m. instead of 2p.m.. In day’s other match, finalist of the last edition Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers face each other at the same venue at 7:30 p.m., in spite of 7p.m. A total of seven team will take part in the franchise-based cricket tournament. The tournament will run almost one and half months with 46 matches will taking place. The final would be staged on March 1. Meanwhile, the ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup will begin in the US and the West Indies in June 1-29. BCB, keeping in mind the T20 World Cup set the new time bar for the BPL.
Meanwhile, BCB has officially announced the ticket prices for the 10th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T-20.
Tickets will be available for the fans at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, and the ticket-selling counter adjacent to Gate-1 of the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium (near the Academy Ground).
A grand stand ticket will cost Tk 2,500, while each ticket for the VIP stand, club house, north and south stand, and eastern stand will cost Tk 1,500, Tk 800, Tk 400, and Tk 200, respectively.
Ticket selling already started from Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and continuing till 8:00 p.m. everyday.
After the initial Dhaka phase, the tournament will move to Sylhet from January 26, will return to Dhaka again February 6, and then travel to Chattogram February 13. The final phase back in Dhaka February 21.
