Although there is more than a week left for the rainy season to arrive, the Kalmigara Beel in Sunigram mouza of Mulgram union in Pabna’s Chatmohar is now full of lotus flowers. Many people are coming from far and wide every day to observe the beauty of the lotus flower.
Every night lotus flowers are blooming in this Beel. In the light sun of the morning, the upward flowers are attracting the attention of nature lovers. As the sun's intensity increases, the flowers gradually begin to shrink. The next night they bloom again. Thus, the white-pink lotus flowers of Kalmigara Beelare spreading beauty for several days.
Tuber is a perennial aquatic plant with lotus flowers originating in Southeast Asia. At one time a lot of lotus flowers were seen in the canal bill of Chatmohar but now it is on the verge of extinction. The lotus propagates through the tuber. Lotus tuber roots are in the soil under water. As the water level rises, so does the height of the tree.
The round green leaves are quite thick. The petiole is long, the inner part is hollow. There are many small holes in the inner part of the flower data. The flowers are quite large in size and are made up of a combination of soft petals. Sweet-scented manlova fresh flowers attract humans and insects.

Lotus flowers have been blooming in this bill in a natural way for years. The perimeter of the Padma Beel is now much smaller than in the past as some lands in the lower reaches of the Beel come under cultivation. Now lotus flowers are blooming in about fifteen acres of water.
As the water level rises, so does the perimeter of the Padma Beel. Every year during the monsoon season, lotus flowers bloom in about 25 acres of swampy land of this beel. He added that many visitors took away the tubers, flowers and leaves of the lotus. In many ceremonies of this area, it is now customary to give food to the lotus leaves.
Shubhashish Bhattacharya, a visitor to Kalmigara Beel, said on Monday, May 24 that the lotus flower is well known in rural Bengal. The lotus flower is very dear to the people of Hindu religion. In order to achieve the satisfaction of Goddess Durga, the demand and appreciation of Padma flower increases in Durga Puja.
He further said, "I have come here to hear that the Kalmigara Beel of Chatmohar is full of lotus flowers even before the rains come at a time when the greenery of the lotus flower is shrinking due to the adverse effects of climate change." I was fascinated by the beauty of the lotus flower in this bill.
Dr. Ruhul Quddus Dollar, a doctor at Chatmohar Upazila Health Complex, said that the lotus flower is not only a source of beauty but also has medicinal properties. Its data can be eaten as a vegetable. These aquatic plants and flowers are very useful in filling the calcium deficiency in the human body and in curing itching and bloody diarrhea.
