Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has announced an extension of the admission deadlines for two of its major programmes. The Master’s program in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Livelihood, conducted by the School of Agriculture and Rural Development, is now accepting applications for the July-December 2024 session until 22 August 2024.

This program is designed for individuals with a Bachelor of Agricultural Education (BAgEd) or a Bachelor of Science degree. The list of selected candidates for the oral examination will be published on 27 August 2024. Prospective students are encouraged to apply online through the BOU website at www.bou.ac.bd.

In addition to this, the Open School at BOU has also extended the admission period for its Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) program for the 2024-25 academic year. This program is available across three branches, and candidates must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or an equivalent examination recognized by the government. The new deadline for HSC program applications is 31 August 2024.

These extensions provide an excellent opportunity for students to pursue higher education in flexible formats that suit their needs. BOU continues to offer accessible education to students across the country, ensuring that more individuals can benefit from its diverse academic programs.
