Javier Cabrera has announced a partial squad of 14 for the two friendlies against Bhutan. The camp will start with them on Monday in Dhaka. Bangladesh team will go to Bhutan on August 30.
The two matches will be on August 5 and 8. Cabarera did not announce the names of the footballers in the U-20 team that will play Bashundhara Kings and SAFF in Nepal.
The players called up from there will join the team before going to Bhutan. Who is staying will be known on August 29. The new face in Cabrera's 14-man squad is midfielder Didarul Alam. He is playing in the jersey of Fortis FC. Another midfielder Zayed Ahmed has returned to the team. Captain Jamal Bhuiyan, who has not found a team this season, is in Cabrera's team.

Meanwhile, Nuruzzaman Nayan has been appointed goalkeeper coach of Bangladesh team for two friendly matches against Bhutan. He will work for the national team only in this FIFA window.
Nayan has been working as the goalkeeper coach of Bashundhara Kings for the last five seasons. He will stay at Kings in the coming season.
Meanwhile, he has to work with the national team.
Earlier, this coach worked with the Bangladesh national football team for four terms. Last in 2021, he was in the role of goalkeeper coach in SAFF Championship. Before that, he was in charge in 2015, 2016 and 2018.
Besides, in 2012, this goalkeeper coach also held the responsibility of the national women's team.
Bangladesh will play two friendly matches against the hosts on September 5 and 8 in Bhutan. The camp starts on Monday. After training for three days in Dhaka, Javier Cabrera's team will go there on August 30.
