Ignoring the fear of death in the Coronavirus period, the ‘memorable role’ of the police as a ‘warrior of the frontline’ is being published in the form of a book ‘Manobik Police Ebong Protichhobi’
The book to be published on those heroic deeds of Bangladesh Police has been edited by Md. Rajib Al Masud, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Lalbagh Zone of Detective Police (DB).
Rajib Al Masud said, “If such an epidemic comes again, people will understand how the police acted in the Corona crisis. As his source, people will be able to know all the activities of the police from the book. So we can call it a success story of the police. I would like the book to reach out to libraries in remote areas, not just cities.”
The book is being published by Pencil Publishing. Mohammad Anwar, director of the organization, said, “Despite publishing various books, this is the first time that such a compilation of all the activities of the police in corona pandemic is being published. Its content is so relevant that we express it with sincerity. Hopefully, I will be able to publish the book by the end of September.”
There are 16 chapters in this book. There is also the plasma donation of the police hospital, all the humanitarian work of the police including coming forward for the burial of the people who died of Corona. There are words of praise from the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister published in the media. Also interviews of police officers published in newspapers.
Police IGP Benazir Ahmed and Md. Monirul Islam are planning to publish the book.
