This year’s Cannes Film Festival saw Bollywood’s reigning actors making heads turn at the red carpet. While this year marks Priyanka Chopra’s début at the French Riviera, Aishwaria Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut amped up their glamour quotient with their various paired looks.
Representing the Swiss Luxury band, Chopard, Priyanka’s look in a shimmery black gown is by far her best red carpet look for this year. While her MET Gala look was all about Dior mesh and sheer gown with a thigh-high slit and feathered hem, her Cannes look was a shimmering Roberto Cavalli gown with a dash of red sparkle, winged eyeliner and berry lipstick.
Dazzling former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a stylish entry at Cannes and strutted down the red carpet in a dramatic look. Dressed in snakeskin embossed number, Aishwarya grabbed everyone's attention. She picked a holographic gown. With this look, she went for a pair of matching chunky heels and metallic gold digits.
Sonam Kapoor in red Valentino
Sonam, who attended the festival as a representative of a leading perfume brand, slayed in a bright red Valentino dress as she made her first Cannes appearance for the year. Styled by sister and personal stylist, Rhea Kapoor, Sonam finished off the look with a lovely floral arrangement on her beautiful mane.
Padmavaat actress Deepika Padukone sported a custom-made Dundas white ivory gown with a statement bow and a plunging neckline, along with reverse cat eye make-up. Pulling her hair in a genie ponytail, the actress’ long trail gown surely made heads turn.
When it came to Kangana, she gave us one of the biggest fashion moments. She was seen wearing a kanjeevaram sari in gold, which the actress wore with a twist. It was styled with a corset blouse, with an attached belt wrapped over the sari.
