Body of a teenage girl was found at Companiganj Upazila Health Complex in Noakhali on Monday night.
The deceased was idenitified as Diamoni, 17, daughter of Shahid Ullah, resident of ward no: 5 under Muchhapur union in the upazila.
Quoting physicians of the hospital, Companiganj Police Station SI Nizam Uddin said they (physicians) termed the death 'unnatural death'.
There was small sign of injury marks on her neck, the doctors said.
Family source said Diamoni suddenly fell sick in her room around 7:30pm.
Hearing her screams, they rushed in and taken her to the hospital where doctor declared Diamoni dead.
Being informed, police went to the scene and recovered the body.
Officer in-charge of the Police Station Arifur Rahman confirmed the matter.
