Police in Puthia recovered the dead body of a school student from a house of Boro Senbhag area of Puthia on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Apon Islam (11) son of late Maidul Islam of Kandra village under Puthia sadar union.
It is learnt, Apon Islam used to live in his auntie's house at Boro Senbhag village and studied in class VI at Boro Senbhag High School.
Police informed, local people found Apon's dead body lying inside a mango orchard beside the house of his aunt around 11-00 am and informed the aunts family members of Apon.
Family members recovered the dead body from the place and took it to their house and informed police. Police recovered the dead body from the house and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.
Police informed the dead body lying inside the mango orchard with a rope fastening around the neck of the deceased. There was no mark of injury on the dead body.
Sorwardi Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Puthia police station informed, He along with Puthia Circle ASP have visited the spot but failed to ensure how the boy died.
