The body of a youth was recovered in Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram on Sunday.The deceased was identified as Forkan, 25, son of Mohammad Hossain, resident of Poshchim Boilgaon Hazir Para at ward no. 1 under Sadhanpur union of Banshkhali upazila.
His body was recovered from behind his maternal uncle’s house at Purba Boilgaon Goazor Para under Sadhanpur in Sadhanpur union of the uapzila on Sunday noon.
On information, Officer-in-Charge of Banshkhali Police Station Saiful Islam visited the spot.
It was learnt that the deceased was bleeding from his tongue and there were injury marks on his throat.
Regarding the recovery of the body, OC Saiful Islam said we suspected that someone may have assaulted him. When he died, his body was left behind the house. The police are continuing their efforts to uncover the main mystery.
Saiful Islam also said that process is ongoing to file a case in connection with this incident.
