BNP will open ‘Hawa Bhaban’ or ‘Khwab Bhaban’ again if given the chance and bomb five hundred and nine thousand places, but the people will not give them that opportunity, said Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud.
He said, “Rizvi has said that our farewell bell has rung. He has been ringing our farewell bells for the last 12 years sitting in Naya Paltan. Not us, in fact their farewell bell has rung.”
He made the statement while addressing the triennial conference of district Awami League as the special guest at Police Line Ground in Pabna on Saturday afternoon.
The minister said that if the BNP gets a chance in the next elections, those who are getting allowances in the villages will be stopped, the rice of OMS will be stopped, the houses that are being given by the government will be occupied by the BNP goons.
“After Khaleda Zia came to power, 6,000 community clinics were taken over. Tareq Zia will come again, extort money from all businesses,” he said.
Mentioning the non-existence of BNP-Jamaat’s politics, he said, “BNP's politics is about identifying Awami League's mistakes and Begum Zia's temperature and pain. A leader of Canada has given her an award to keep her in the discussion. This is their politics.”
Addressing the leaders and workers, he said, “Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the fate of every person in the country has changed. One hundred percent people are getting electricity, three crore people are getting allowances and people above the age of 60 will be brought under the pension scheme.”
