Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud has said that BNP is visiting doors of foreigners due to political weakness.
He made this comment at a book unveiling ceremony titled “Bhuban Jora Sheikh Hasinar Asankhani’ written by Zafar Wazed, an award-winning journalist, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs auditorium on Friday.
Hasan Mahmud said, foreigners will not help them to be in power even if they dream.
He said that Sheikh Hasina is not only the leader of Bangladesh, she is the world leader. The whole world including India, Pakistan is impressed by Sheikh Hasina’s leadership. Sheikh Hasina is admired by world leaders. Whenever she goes to any world meeting, Sheikh Hasina remain at the center of discussion.
While replying to reporters question, the foreign minister said that 285 Myanmar border guards who fled to Bangladesh on April 22 will be sent back to their country.
The foreign minister has stated that the citizens have chosen Bangladesh Awami League and entrusted them with the task of governing the nation. The remarks made by BNP leaders have transformed into a circus. BNP will never attain the status of a party for the people unless it can extricate itself from this circus.
Earlier, while unveiling the book ‘Bhuban Jora Sheikh Hasinar Asankhani’, Hasan Mahmud said that leadership like Sheikh Hasina is rare in the world. Sheikh Hasina is not only the leader of Bangladesh, but has now transformed into a world leader. Foreign leaders also praised him.
He said, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak told Sheikh Hasina - you are not only an inspiration for me but also for my family. The ambassador of Palestine met me and said, "If we had a Sheikh Hasina in the Arab world, there would not be a war in Gaza today."
