Barrister Rumin Farhana, Sub-International Affairs Secretary of BNP, said that the party's acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, clearly stated that the interim government is a people's government in Bangladesh, and this government must not be allowed to fail under any circumstances. However, if the government fails itself, then there is nothing we can do about it.

She emphasized that the safest form of governance in a democratic country is when it is in the hands of elected representatives. For this reason, BNP has repeatedly urged the government to ensure free, fair, and impartial elections and to make the necessary reforms and create the environment required for such elections.

Came up with assertion while addressing the newly elected leaders of the Employees Union at a meeting held at the Ashuganj Sugar Mill Employee Club in Brahmanbaria on Saturday night.

Rumin Farhana said, if people are allowed to vote and if this government can create an environment for free, fair, and impartial elections, then BNP will form the government with more than 250 seats. With new young leadership, we will form a new parliament. No corrupt politican, extortionist, or money launderer will make it to the parliament this time. This will be a people's parliament, where the voices of the common people will be heard.

She further added, people have endured Sheikh Hasina's oppression for 16 years. But when the people rose up, she was forced to flee the country. Now, sitting in a neighboring country, she is conspiring to destabilize Bangladesh. But no matter how many conspiracies she plots, she will not succeed. The people of Bangladesh are very aware. They will not make the wrong choice when electing their leaders.

The meeting was chaired by the president of the Ashuganj Sugar Mill Employees Union, Bazlur Rahman. The general secretary of the organization, Abu Kauser, and the general secretary of the Ashuganj Upazila BNP, Habibur Rahman, also spoke at the event.
