Based on the 100-year history of the Rohingya community and genocide the full-length documentary 'Blossom from Ash’, shown on the world-famous video streaming site Amazon Prime.

Produced by US producer Alex Bloom, it was produced by Nepali cinematographer Sarun Manandhar on camera by Bangladeshi director Noman Robin.  The film has been showing on Prime since January 28.

"We came across a lot of unknown and horrible information while making this film.  On the condition of anonymity, I have tried to recreate those events and scenes in collaboration with many scholars in Myanmar.  We want this film to be a document for the rights of the Rohingya,” said director Noman Robin.

In 1996, the Oxford Council of London awarded the Freedom of the City to Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi.  It was withdrawn again in 2019.  Many believe that the film 'Blossom from Ash' has played a major role in snatching this honor.
