Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2022 is going to be held today ( Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) with the theme "Inspirational Empowerment and Innovation".
This information was given at a press conference organized by BCC on the occasion of "Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh-2022" at Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium at ICT Tower, Agargaon on Sunday.
It was further informed at the press conference that Planning Minister MA Mannan will inaugurate "Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2022" as the chief guest on Sunday in the auditorium of Bangladesh Krishibid Institute (KIB).
After the opening ceremony, the participating teams will showcase their projects. Visitors, guests and judges will be able to view the exhibition. He said the exhibition would also be open to the general public interested in blockchain technology.

Besides, 4 seminars, onspot quiz, gala dinner, cultural programs will be held. The three-day event will conclude on Wednesday, June 6, with the award ceremony and closing ceremony.
State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak, MP will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
Note that Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh is launching a new category called 'Professional Category' this year. Employees and students from different professions of the country are participating in this blockchain competition. Projects include Document Authentication, E-Governance, Fintech, Identity and Privacy, Supply Chain, Edutech and Heathtech. 50 teams of Student Category Finalists and 10 teams of Professional Category Finalists will participate in this event.
Joining the keynote address, NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of ICT, said that blockchain is the "foundation technology" to change the world today. He called upon all concerned to make the Blockchain Olympiad a success.
