Blankets were distributed among freedom fighters at Chitalmari upazila in Bagerhat on behalf of Sheikh Helal Uddin, MP from Bagerhat-1 constituency, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The blanket distribution programme was held in front of the Chitalmari Upazila Parishad Complex on Monday afternoon. Three and a half thousand blankets were handed over to the presidents and general secretaries of the ward committees of 7 unions of the upazila for distribution. Awami League, Juba League and Chhatra League leaders were present on the occasion.
