Blankets were distributed among the cold hits people on Saturday noon (11 January). They were distributed among 150 cold hit people of Gujadia Bazar in Karimganj upazila of the district on the initiative of Gujadia Union Awami League General Secretary Syed Masud.
Gujadia Union Awami League President Md. Hannan Mollah presided over the function. Karimganj Upazila Chairman and Karimganj Upazila Awami League Convener Nasirul Islam Khan Awlad attended as a chief guest. At that time Gujadia Union Awami League, Juboleague, Student League leaders and others local elites were also present. Later the chief guest distributed blankets among 150 cold hits people.
