A total of 100 blankets were distributed among the helpless, students, Orphans and cold-hit people in the district on Tuesday afternoon.
Sonali Bank Limited, district principal office organised the distribution programme.

Harunur Rashid handed over the blankets to the cold-hit people at Sonali Bank Limited, district principal office premises this afternoon as the chief guest with Narail Branch Manager Mofidul Islam in the chair. Senior Principal officer of the Bank Muktikam Biswas, Principal officer Md. Shahnewaz, Ashis Kumar Das, senior officer Proloy Chakrabarty, Md Emdadul Haque Biswas, Mustafizur Rahman,Saiful Islam,Sudip Biswas among others, were present of the occasion.
On the eve of the distribution of winter clothes, the speakers said from a humanitarian point of view, all the well-to-do people should cooperate with the helpless people from their respective positions.
