The 71st birth anniversary of Sheikh Kamal was observed through various programmes in Rajshahi city on Wednesday.
To mark the day, floral tributes was paid at the portraits of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the four national leaders at the city Awami League office at Kumarpara of the city in the morning.
Later on, a Doa Mahfil was held at the party office.
The programmes were attended, among others, by President of Rajshahi city unit of AL and Mayor of RCC AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, General Secretary of City AL Doublew Sarker, former Vice-President of city AL Shahin Akhter Reni, Former Assistant Secretary Rezaul Islam Babul, Organising Secretary Adv. Aslam Sarker, Deputy Publicity Secretary Istiaque Ahmed Limon and Habibur Rahman Babu.
