Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance launched a programme for assisting flood-affected people in Sadar and Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha on Wednesday.
The programme was launched on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Deputy Speaker Advocate Md. Fazle Rabbi Mia, MP, inaugurated this programme as the chief guest. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gaibandha Md. Abdul Matin was present at the event as the special guest. On behalf of BHBFC, Head Office, Head of Engineering Department, Md. Golam Mostafa, Zonal Manager-Rangpur Mohammad Nuruzzaman and other senior officials were present there.
The Deputy Speaker thanked the BHBFC authorities for standing by the flood victims in this situation. He called upon all to stand bedside flood-hit people.
