The film, titled "Payel," centers around a women-centric narrative, marking a significant departure in the local film industry. Actress Bhabna, who plays a pivotal role in the film, expressed her enthusiasm for working on a project with such a powerful focus on women.
In the remarkable milestone for the Bangladeshi film industry, acclaimed actors Misha Sawdagor, Shiba Shanu, versatile talent Shahed Ali, popular actress Ashna Habib Bhabna, and the accomplished actor Ziaul Roshan are coming together for the first time in the film "Payel," directed by Raihan Khan.
She mentioned, "It's been a while since we've seen a commercial film with such a strong female-centered storyline in our industry. The story is primarily centered around me, and I'm deeply invested in giving it my all."
Misha Sawdagor, who has a prominent role in the film commented, "The story is simply extraordinary. I'm extremely optimistic about my character as well. I'm striving to portray it authentically. When arrangements are good, work becomes enjoyable."
Ziaul Roshan, sharing his experience stated, "I can't help but reference a particular scene. Before shooting it, I wondered how Raihan bhai would handle this scene. Later, I saw him concluding the scene with such brilliance that I was captivated. He truly is a gifted director. I'm thoroughly enjoying working on this project."
Shiba Shanu, who recently garnered appreciation for her role in Himel Ashraf's film "Priyotoma," portrays the character of Shakib Khan's elder brother in the movie. Opposite her, Elina Sammi delivers a compelling performance.
Furthermore, Bhabna revealed that her film "Dampara" is set to be released soon, where she plays a pivotal role alongside Ferdous. She also completed work on "Japito Jibon," directed by her father, Habibul Islam Habib.
Describing her experience, she said, "The shooting of 'Japito Jibon' has concluded, and it turned out exceptionally well. Just a few days ago, I sang a song for this film."
