A team of Nimtola BOP under Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-58 raiding Iswachandrapur vilage under Darshana Police Station of Chuadanga district recovered 81 bottles of phensidyl and one bottle of Indian wine on Thuirsday night.
A press release signed by Mohammad Nazrul Islam Khan, Assistant Director of BGB Battalion-58 confirmed the information on Friday.
According to the press release, on secret information a five-member team of BGB, led by Nayek Moklesur Rahman of Nimtola BOP, rushed to the spot and recovered the bottles from the place in an abandoned condition.
A case was filed with Darshana Police Station in this connection. However, no one was detained in this regard during the raid, said the press release.
