A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was killed in a road crash in Chitrali Bazar area under Khalishpur Police Station Khulna city on Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Murad Hossain, son of Sheikh Nazrul Islam of Kalia upazila in Narail.
Deputy Police Commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) B M Nuruzzaman confirmed the matter. He said that the road crash took place when a bus rammed into Murad's motorcycle from behind in BIDC road area, leaving him seriously injured. He was rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) with serious head injury where the duty doctor declared him dead. The body was later handed over to his family members. Police seized the bus.
