Over 3 thousand 595 Indian Yaba tablets, 58 kg of ganja, 934 bottles of Iskoff, 25 bottles of Phensedyl, 06 bottles of beer cans and 07 bottles of whiskey were seized by the members of 25th battalion of BGB in various areas of Brahmanbaria border.
On Monday morning, separate raids were conducted in Chanpur, Sejamora, Hirapur, Bishnapur, Nowabadi, Ikartali, Alinagar, Kalyanpur, Rajapur, Kashinagar, Bhagalpur, Anwarpur and Azampur areas of Akhaura and Vijaynagar upazilas.
This information was informed in a press release sent by the 25th battalion of BGB on Monday afternoon. It is mentioned that the recovered narcotics are being deposited and destroyed at Brahmanbaria Narcotics Control Office.
