Bangladesh will play two FIFA friendly matches in November window when they will host Maldives.
Emran Hossain Tushar, general secretary of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) informed the reporetrs on Saturday that Bangladesh will host the Maldives in November for the FIFA friendlies.
The two matches scheduled to take place on November 13 and 16 in Dhaka.
Tushar Emran said, “The matches will be held in Dhaka. We have already started discussion with Bashundhara Kings for hosting the matches at the Kings Arena.”
Tushar also informed that they had invitation from the Malaysian and the Thai FA for playing FIFA friendly match but they proposed to play only a single match at their home and the (BFF) preferred to host Maldives as they (Maldives) agreed to play two matches at our ground.
Meanwhile, England-born footballer Hamza Choudhury who was expected to represent Bangladesh in November and FIFA asked the BFF for further documents regarding the process of getting Hamza to play for Bangladesh.
The BFF GS further informed that they have already asked Hamza and his family to send the necessary documents, so that they could run the process.
Meanwhile, it was known earlier that Hamza, the Leicester City midfielder, had an injury and would not have been available for at lead more than amonth, so he would not also available for the November window, even if his procedure of being eligible to represent Bangladesh was completed.
