With the slogan "Dream of a clean Bangladesh" members of voluntary organisation BD Clean conducted a cleanliness drive at New BusTerminal areas of Sherpur on Friday afternoon. Humayun Kabir Ruman, Chairman of Sherpur Zila Parishad inaugurated the cleanliness drive.
At the inaugural speech Zila Parishad Chairman said, cleanliness was a part of Iman a precondition for clean environment. He thanked the initiative of BD Clean for its activities and assured to assist any programme of the organisation in future.
Presided over by Al-Amin Raju, Coordinator of BD Clean, Sherpur, the brief meeting was addressed and attended, among others, by former Sadar upazila chairman Sanuar Hossain Sanu, district Mohild Parishad Chairman Shamsunnaher Kamal, district Jubo League President Habibur Rahman Habib, Joynal Abedin Hajari, Abdul Matin, Nur-e-Alam Chanchal, GM Azfar Babul, Mijanur Rahman, Abdur Rafique Majid, Asaduzzaman Murad, Zubaidul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Shamim and Rais Ahmed Ridoy.
Aftermath of the meeting members of the organisation cleaned dust and garbages from Bus terminal area and dumped those in the garbage-bins.
