BCL helps Cox’s Bazar farmer

Local leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) helped a farmer harvest paddy in Cox's Bazar on at a time when agro-labour is scarce due to the nationwide lockdown over the coronavirus outbreak. 

Around 20 leaders and activists, led by BCL Cox's Bazar district unit Deputy Mass Communication Secretary Wasif Kabir, went to Delpara village in Sadar upazila after getting a phone call from farmer Jasim Uddin.

Farmer Jasim thanked the BCL leaders and activists for responding to her call for help as well as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as she instructed the ruling Awami League’s student body to help the farmer in time of the coronavirus crisis.

Recently, BCL men have been coming forward to help the helpless and poor farmers as per the directive of central unit.
