Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) has seized 1.33 lakh pieces of yaba tablets from Tenkaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar. However, during the raid, no one could be held.
Media Officer of Bangladesh Coast Guard Headquarters Lieutenant Khandakar Munif Toki on Wednesday stated that during a press briefing.

Lt Munif said that acting on a tip-off, BCG Teknaf Station Commander Lieutenant Commander M Nayeem Ul Haque led a raid in several areas of Teknaf upazila. During the raid, the BCG team spotted two men carrying sacks of unknown product. Based on suspicion, BCG members ordered them to stop. Sensing the presence of law enforcement, those two fled the scene throwing the sacks. Later, members of the team found 133, 000 pieces of Yaba tablets from those bags.
LT Munif said that the seized Yaba tablets has been handed over to Taknaf Police Station.
