Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive detained two drug peddlers from Sangu Mohona area under Gahira of 3No Raipur union of Anowara Police Station of Chattogram district on Saturday, says a press release issued by Bangladesh Coast Guard.
Acting on a tip-off, a special raid was conducted by BCG Base Chattagram and searched a wooden boat and seized two yaba peddlers with 1, 50,000 pieces of contraband yaba pills. They detainees were identified as Md Jalal Uddin, 25 and Md Farooque, 26 hailed from Anowara Police Station of Chattogram. They were carrying yaba pills for supplying different places of the country. Seized yaba pills and detainee were sent to Anowara Police Station for taking further legal action.
