Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG)’s South Zone detained a drug peddler with 800 grams of cannabis in a drive from Badurtola Khalpar area under Patharghata Police Station in Barguna on Friday, says a press release issued by BCG.
The detainee was identified as Md Jewel, 25, hailed from South Patharghata village under Patharghata Police Station of Barguna district. Later, seized cannabis and the drug peddler were handed over to Patharghata Police Station for further legal procedure.
