The Bangladesh Women's 'A' team is set to tour Sri Lanka this month. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming series on Sunday.

Despite being labelled as the 'A' team, almost all the players are from the national team. The squad includes several experienced cricketers, including national team captain Nigar Sultana Joty. The primary reason for their inclusion is to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The series will feature two One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20 matches. Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka will commence with the ODI series. The first match will be held on 8 September at the Army Stadium in Panagoda, followed by the second match on 10 September at the Thurstan College Ground in Colombo.

The first two T20 matches will take place at the P Sara Oval on 12 and 13 September. The third T20 match will be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground on 15 September. The fourth match will be at Thurstan College Ground on 17 September, and the final T20 match will be at Colts Cricket Club Ground on 19 September.
