A special mobile court has conducted a raid in Natore’s Gurudaspur upazila to stop illegally cutting the soil and destroying the road.
Batteries of excavators at two points have been seized by a mobile court for illegally cutting soil and destroying roads at different points of the upazila.
According to the upazila administration sources, the batteries were seized by the authorities concerned at different points from Sunday morning till noon. The wrongdoers fled the scene after sensing the presence of the mobile court. At that time, the batteries of the excavators were confiscated and a fine was also charged in Binayabari area of Jumainagar of Nazirpur union of the upazila for creating a disorder in transporting soil on paved roads with illegal vehicles.
The mobile court was conducted by Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Gurudaspur Upazila and Executive Magistrate Md Abu Russell.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Tamal Hossain said that the mobile court team by the initiative of Gurudaspur Upazila Administration is always working to serve the public interest, and this campaign will continue.
