Newly appointed Treasurer Professor Dr Md Badruzzaman Bhuiyan has joined on Tuesday at Barishal University. He was a Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dhaka University. He joined the university on Tuesday, April 19 by laying a wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
At this time, the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Sadequl Arefin Under the leadership of , the University Teachers 'Association, Proctor, Hall Provost, Journalists' Association, Officers-Employees Welfare Association spontaneously welcomed him with flowers.
Newly appointed Treasurer Professor. Badruzzaman Bhuiyan said, "I have joined Barishal University with the direct appointment of His Excellency the President and the Prime Minister." My only vow is to take Barishal University forward as the best school and to take all necessary steps to create an academic atmosphere.
We will build Barishal University as one of the best universities in the country with the cooperation of teachers, students, officials and employees of the university.
Treasurer Professor Badruzzaman Bhuiyan was the provost of the traditional Shaheed Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall of Dhaka University. Moreover, Professor Badruzzaman has also served as the Chairman of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Assistant Proctor, University of Dhaka. He is also known across the country as a popular columnist and talk show personality.
