The Farm Machinery and Postharvest Process Engineering Division (FMPE) of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a training on Methodology of Agricultural Machinery Research for Scientists at the FMPE Seminar Room on Monday.
The FMD Project funded the training. Director General of BARI Dr. Debasish Sarker inaugurated the training as chief guest. Chief Scientific Officer (FMPE Division) Dr. Md. Nurul Amin presided over the function. At the same time, Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam, Director (T&C) Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam, and Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Dilwar Ahmed Choudhury, were present as special guests. Senior Scientific Officer (FMPE Division) Dr. Muhammad Arshadul Hoque gave the welcome address.
The chief guest said in his speech, that keeping in mind the needs of the times, we have to modernize our agricultural machinery. Where the machine will simultaneously save time and ensure economic benefit to the farmer. Our agriculture must advance with the developed world or we will fall behind.
