Banskhali Lawyers’ Association election was held on Sunday. Advocate Monirul Alam Chowdhury Babul was re-elected unopposed as President and Advocate Muhammad Abu Naser as General Secretary was elected by direct vote.
Voting was completed at the office of the Lawyers' Association of Banskhali Court Building on Sunday.
Advocate Fazal Akbar Zainal Abedin Belal Chowdhury as Vice President, Advocate Jasim Uddin as Deputy General Secretary, Akkas Uddin as Finance Secretary, Advocate Ali Newaz Khan as Office Secretary, Advocate Anisul Islam as Information Technology Secretary, Advocate Lincoln Talukder as Cultural Secretary, Advocate Shahidul Quader Tipu as member, Advocate Aminul Ehsan. Advocate MRM Takchimul Gani Imon was in charge of the Chief Election Commissioner, Advocate Showkat Iqbal Chowdhury and Advocate Taposh Kanti Sushil were in charge of the Assistant Election Commissioner.
58 out of 64 voters exercised their right to vote in the election. After the announcement of the results, a discussion meeting was held at the Bar Association office with all the members.
The winners requested everyone's cooperation in the development of the organization.
Meanwhile, Banshkhali Press Club President Journalist Shafkat Hossain Chatgami, General Secretary Shah Muhammad Shafiullah and other Press Club leaders congratulated the winners of the Bar Association elections.
