Fayez Ahmed, a student from Rajshahi Government Laboratory High School, has clinched a bronze medal at the prestigious International Biology Olympiad. Competing against peers from 79 countries in Astana, Kazakhstan, Fayez's achievement marks his second consecutive win in this global contest celebrating young biology talent.
The 35th edition of the Olympiad, held from July 7 to 14, showcased Fayez's dedication and excellence in the field of biology. Alongside him, three other Bangladeshi students—Raisa Fabiha Jannat, Ha-meem Rahman, and Swapna Mondol—also participated, highlighting Bangladesh's growing presence in international scientific competitions.
