Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim dies in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim has died in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

The deceased Md Asaduzzman, 57, breathed his last in Madinah on Wednesday. His passport number is 'A13561034'. A regular bulletin of IT help-desk of hajj management portal confirmed the death news around 3am on Saturday. This is the first death of a Bangladeshi pilgrim in this year’s hajj.

Total 27,111 Bangladeshi pilgrims, out of 86,527,  reached Saudi Arabia till 3am on Saturday.

According to the information received, of the 24,236 pilgrims who arrived in Saudi Arabia by Thursday, 3,747 were from government management, and 20,749 were from private management. 

So far, 61 flights have been operated to Saudi Arabia, 21 of which were operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 20 by Saudi Airlines.and 20 by Flynas Airlines.
