The outgoing US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl Miller on Wednesday expressed hope that existing excellent relations between Bangladesh and the USA would reach new heights in the future.
"A high-level delegation from Washington would visit Dhaka in the next few months. The delegation has already started taking preparations to discuss various issues aiming at taking the relations between the two countries to a new height," he said.

The outgoing US ambassador came up with the remarks when he paid a farewell call on Prime Minister's International Relation Affairs Adviser Professor Dr Gowher Rizvi at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) here in the afternoon, said a PMO press release.
During the meeting, Miller discussed various issues related to the development of relations between the two countries during his stay in Bangladesh for over 3 years.
Dr Rizvi said that the two countries have excellent relations in business investment, education-culture, defence and disaster management.
Deputy Chief of US mission in Dhaka Helen LaFave and Political Unit Chief Arturo Hines were present at the meeting.
