Bangladesh is set to participate in the 75th edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the largest book fair in the world, to be held in the German city of Frankfurt from October 17 to October 18. A delegation from Bangladesh led by Cultural Affairs Secretary Khalilur Rahman will take part in the fair with renowned Bangladeshi authors on history, heritage, culture, liberation war, life and work.
National Book Center Director Minar Mansur, among others, will be in the delegation. Minister (Commercial) of the Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin, Germany Saiful Islam will supervise the participation of Bangladesh.
The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest trade fair for books, based both on the number of publishing companies represented, and the number of visitors. It is considered to be the most important book fair in the world for international deals and trading.
