Poet and dramatist Ovik Osman has been re-elected as President and Saifuddin Ahmed Saki as General Secretary in the meeting of Bangladesh Public Relations Association Chattogram chapter.
The conference was held in a colourful event in the presence of more than half a hundred public relations professionals from Chattogram at Sea World of Foys Lake, a tourist center of the city. President of Bangladesh Public Relations Association Central Committee, former director of Power Development Board ASM Bajlul Haque, Secretary General Banker Moniruzzaman Tipu and member Badrul Haider Chowdhury were present as chief guests and special guests in the event.
Chattogram Chapter President Ovik Osman presided over the meeting. Media personality AKM Belayet Hossain, former founder president of Public Relations Society Chattogram, Shafiqul Alam Khan, former director (public relations) of Bangladesh Railway, former CU director Poet Yusuf Muhammad, IIUC deputy Director Mostak Khandkar, CVASU senior deputy director (Public Relations) Khalilur Rahman spoke.
In the program, Bangladesh Public Relations Association Central Committee President ASM Bajlul Haque presented an article titled "Crisis Communication and Public Relations" in the seminar.
Essays on the roles and duties of public relations officers during a crisis in organizations and institutions including correct information informing the media, correcting wrong information or lack of information, bringing every important issue to the public during a crisis, being careful about negative propaganda, maintaining constant communication with the media. He brought up the issues of keeping etc. in a clear manner.
The Bangladesh Public Relations Association took the form of a gathering in the presence of public relations experts around this conference and seminar in Chattogram. Overcoming all the challenges and obstacles, everyone came together and the voices chanted recently, the triumph of brotherhood and friendship.
