Bangladesh is participating in Fashion World Tokyo (FaW) 2024 being held on 15- 17 October at the Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.
The Fashion World is the largest trade show for the fashion industry in Japan gathering all kinds of fashion wear, apparel, bag, shoes, textile, leather, fashion accessory and fashion sourcing from all over the world. All major RMG and leather exporting countries are attending this event.
Bangladesh is also a regular participant at this fair under the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
This year’s fair, along with the regular participants, some new Bangladeshi companies totalling 19 (nineteen) manufacturer, supplier and buying houses involved in the apparel and leather industry are participating.
Chargé d'Affaires of Bangladesh Embassy in Japan, Shah Asif Rahman inaugurated the Bangladesh pavilion on Tuesday.
He along with Embassy officials visited Bangladeshi booths and interacted with the exhibitors on the first day of the fair.
Mentioning that Japan is a potential market for Bangladesh, he encouraged the Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to make strong efforts to increase their market share in Japan with more efforts and new items keeping in mind the unique requirements of Japanese people.
