Law Minister Anisul Huq has said that Bangladesh has achieved phenomenal development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “Bangladesh’s economic shape has changed.
The Padma Bridge could be built entirely with our own funds by dint of the courage of the people. The country is now a role model for development across the globe. All these have been possible due to the leadership of Sheikh Hasina,” he added.
Anisul Huq said this while talking to journalists during his visit to Akhaura Railway Junction in Brahmanbaria on Friday morning.
He said, “If you all remain beside Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the future of Bangladesh will be a prosperous one.”
Calling upon the local people to get vaccinated, he said that the country had witnessed a relatively low death count from Covid-19 due to the farsightedness of the Prime Minister.
Replying to a question from journalists whether any change or reform will be made in the Digital Security Act, the Law Minister hinted that the government would soon amend the Digital Security Act. He said, “You will see in a few days, whatever there is.”
Brahmanbaria Deputy Commissioner Hayat-Ud-Doula Khan, Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Anisur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP-headquarters) Md Abu Sayid and other members of the local administration were also present at the time.
